Seasonal Reflections From Our CEO

As we step into a new year, I’m filled with gratitude and optimism for what this community continues to make possible together.

The Regenerative Organic Alliance now includes nearly 350 licensed brands, and with each new member, the impact of regenerative organic agriculture becomes more visible, more measurable, and more deeply rooted around the world. This month, we’re proud to welcome inspiring new Regenerative Organic Certified® brands, suppliers, and farms, from innovative beverages reintroducing native plants, to wines restoring vineyard ecosystems, to herbal companies strengthening regenerative supply chains in the Pacific Northwest.

We’re also reflecting on the progress made in 2025, and the growth of the ROC™ program speaks for itself: more certified acres, more farms and brands, greater crop diversity, and thousands more regenerative organic products reaching store shelves. These numbers represent healthier soils, cleaner water, stronger livelihoods, and a more resilient planet.

This issue also highlights important milestones, from historic firsts in regenerative organic wine to the leadership of our ROA Allies, whose support helps drive systems change across food, fiber, and wellness.

Thank you for being part of this community and for proving that how we grow matters. Here’s to deeper roots, broader impact, and an even more regenerative organic year ahead.

A Year in Review

UTD ROC Numbers Chart (PP Compatable)

As we look back on this past year, one thing is abundantly clear: regeneration is no longer just a movement it’s a measurable force for change. Thanks to the unwavering commitment of our farmers, brands, partners, and community, the Regenerative Organic Certified® program grew in every meaningful way in 2025.

In just one year:

  • Certified acres expanded from 18.4 million to 19.8 million, more land healing soil, capturing carbon, and restoring ecosystems.
  • Certified brands grew from 223 to 344, showing strong market demand for truly regenerative products.
  • Certified crops increased from 474 to 599, reflecting greater biodiversity and resilient food systems.
  • Products on the market rose from 1.9K to 2.7K, bringing regenerative choices to more shelves and households.
  • Farms and ranches grew from 301 to 438, expanding a global community rooted in soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness.

Each of these numbers represents more than growth, they represent cleaner water, richer soil, healthier food, fairer working conditions, and a more resilient planet for future generations.

This progress belongs to all of you who believe that how we grow matters. Thank you for standing with us, for choosing regeneration, and for helping prove that healing the earth is not only possible, it’s already happening.

Here’s to deeper roots, broader impact, and an even more regenerative organic year ahead!

A First for Champagne...

We’re proud to celebrate a historic milestone in regenerative organic agriculture: Champagne Telmont has become the first Champagne House to achieve Regenerative Organic Certified® for its organic vineyards.

This achievement proves that regenerative organic farming can thrive even in the world’s most iconic and tradition-rich wine regions. Through practices that restore soil health, foster biodiversity, and uphold strong social and labor standards, Telmont is helping shape a more resilient future for viticulture.

As investor Leonardo DiCaprio shared, this certification is “a major achievement for Telmont and for Champagne as a whole,” underscoring the role regenerative organic agriculture can play in shaping the future of the wine industry.

We congratulate the Telmont team on this landmark accomplishment and their continued commitment to advancing regenerative organic practices, raising a glass to healthier soils, thriving ecosystems, and a more regenerative future.
